Chile's Paragraph:
Based on the information given, I can conclude that Chile is in stage 3, but a possible transition into 4, of the Demographic Transition Model. The birth and death rates, 15 and 10 respectively, have a medium size gap, but that gap is starting to get smaller, due to imporoved medical care and diet, and fewer children die. The rate of natural increase has started to slow down also. Chile grows in population size 1% per year, which is, an indication that it is starting to slow down. The life expectancy resembles the characteristic of a stage 5 country, because Chile's life expectancy is 79 years which >75. These are the characteristics of Chile in stage 3.
