China's Paragraph:
Based on the information given I can conclude that China is in the stage 3. The gap between them is what determines the scale of what is high and low for birth/death rates. There is a medium size gap between the two, which is an indication of a stage 3 country( More natural resources available, and a lack of need for children. The rate of natural increase resembles one of stage 4, because it is 0.5%, which means it is starting to become stable. China's population growth rate has started to slow down as time is going on. Now for fertility rate, and life expectancy. These 2 resemble more of the characteristics of stage 4 & 5, because the fertility rate, which is 1.5%, is less than what stage 5 is saying, and the life expectancy is 74, which falls between 65-75 years. These are the characteristics of China in stage 3.
